Lesson Policy
Please take your lessons seriously. Regardless of your goals
in music, we hope that you will practice daily and attend your lessons regularly,
we want you to succeed.
- All pre-paid lessons are non-refundable. You must attend
all pre-paid lessons or forfeit the payment. All reserved lesson times are
charged and must be paid in full according to our tuition schedule. There will
be no make up lessons given.
- When a monthly tuition payment is made, it reserves a
lesson time on our schedule for that month. It is the responsibility of the
student to attend each lesson time that has been reserved for that month. The
teacher will be ready and waiting for the student at the reserved appointment
time, whether or not the student attends the lesson.
- Any student missing two lessons without contacting
either his/her teacher or Jammer’s Music Center will be removed from the
teacher’s schedule.
- Please be prompt. If you are late for your lesson, you
will receive the balance of your allotted time. If your teacher is late he/she
will adjust their schedule, so that you receive your full lesson.
- We shall do our best to notify you a day in advance if
your teacher will not be available for your lesson. You will receive credit
for a lesson your teacher is unable to at tend.
- If your teacher does not attend or notify you for a
scheduled lesson, you will receive a lesson free of charge.
- Students will be allowed to take two weeks vacation
without being removed from the schedule. In the even that a student will be
absent for more than two weeks, he/she has the option of paying for the
lessons they will be missing, or being removed from the teacher’s schedule and
rescheduling upon their return. Choice of lesson time and teacher cannot be
guaranteed if you are taken off the schedule for any reason.
The object of this policy is not to charge the students for
lessons not received, but to create a fair and consistent experience for the
students and teachers.
